The Cando Event - A fireball in
the sky
The Cando
explosion occurred in the village of Cando, Spain in the morning of
January 18, 1994. Cando villagers witnessed a huge fireball in the sky which lasted
more than one minute. It was reported that up to 200 m³ of terrain was
missing and trees were found 100 m down the hill. This is also
considered as an unexplainable event.

Tunguska -
Thousands of square kilometers of trees were burned
In the early morning of 30 June, 1908, a
gigantic explosion happened in Tunguska, near Siberia border and blinding flash.
Witnesses claimed that thousands of square kilometers of trees were
burned. The explosion was equivalent to 10-15 million tonnes of TNT.
Photo of the explosion was reconstructed by scientists.
Two days later, there was so much fine
dust in the atmosphere that newspapers could be read at night by
scattered light in the streets of London, 10,000 km (6,213 miles)
away. Nearly a century afterwards, scientists are still discussing what
happened at that remote spot. Was it a comet or an asteroid? Many other
theories have been proposed but so far the cause of explosion is still a
mystery.
